Janecky Studio is situated in the gardens of the Order of Malta’s Grand Priory of Bohemia in the centre of Prague and was opened in spring 2020.
The Studio includes a gallery of Martin Janecky’s art.
Janecky Studio is located in the heart centre of Prague in an area called Kampa.
The Studio is equipped with the Spiral Arts technologies: 400 lb. furnace, two glory hole furnaces of 20" and 24" diameter, a garage and two double stack annealers, and uses Bomma cullet glass and a variety of Kugler colours.
The Studio serves primarily as a glass atelier for Martin Janecky’s own artwork. However, the Studio also offers cooperation with designers, architects or artists to make glass pieces according to their own designs, and rental of the capacities for glass patterning.Moreover, the Studio focuses on professional educational activities and offers students and graduates of glass schools internships under the guidance of Martin Janecky.
